One template, one row of data per banner. These previews are live renders.

What gets in the way

  • Dynamic ads show bare product photos, the same ones competitors use.
  • Overlays made by hand cover a few hero products, not the whole catalog.
  • When a price changes, the image in the ad still shows the old one.
  • Every ad network wants different sizes: square, 4:5, 1.91:1, 9:16.

How it works

  1. 1

    Design the overlay

A frame with the price, the discount and your logo around the product photo, in square and vertical versions.

  2. 2

    Feed it your catalog

Point the automation to your product feed (Google Merchant Center, Meta catalog, YML or any XML, CSV or JSON) or connect a Google Sheet.

  3. 3

Use the images in your feed

Deliver images to S3 or Google Drive on a schedule, or put signed image links straight into a supplemental feed.

Image links that render themselves

A signed link contains the template and the data. The image is generated on the first request and cached, so a column of links in your spreadsheet or supplemental feed is all it takes. A new price means a new link and a new image.

Why it works for performance teams

The whole catalog, not ten hero products

Batches of up to 5,000 images per run; scheduled runs re-render only the products whose price, photo or title changed, so unchanged ones don’t use your quota.

Every placement from one design

Stacks and smart resizing lay the same overlay out for 1:1, 4:5, 1.91:1 and 9:16 without separate designs.

Variants for testing

Duplicate the template with another badge style or color and run both on the same data to compare creatives.

Signed links and webhooks

Signed URLs (Starter and above) for feeds and emails, plus webhooks with an HMAC signature when a batch is ready.

Questions and answers

Can Bannermatic read my Google Merchant Center or Meta catalog feed?

Yes. Paste the feed URL: Google Merchant Center and Meta catalog feeds (RSS and Atom with g: fields), YML and any XML with repeating items work, as well as CSV, JSON and Google Sheets. Every product becomes ready columns: title, price (with the active discount), old_price, discount, image, link, brand and more.

Do the ad platforms accept images with prices and badges?

Generally yes for catalog and dynamic ads, but every platform has its own policies for overlays and text. Keep the price accurate and in sync with the landing page; scheduled runs help with that.

How do the images update when prices change?

Either run the automation on a schedule (Pro and Business) and overwrite the files in your storage, or use signed links: a new price produces a new link, which renders a new image on first request.
